AAA Lawn Care, LLC
Frequently Asked Questions:
Do I have to sign a contract?
No, but your treatments will continue until you cancel. Please call and let us know.
Do you have a guarantee?
If you have our seven-step treatment program and any application fails to deliver the proper results, we will come back free of charge. Please understand that it normally takes 2 to 3 treatments to get your weeds under control. However, we cannot guarantee elimination of nutsedge and wild violets. Also, our service does not include killing of undesirable fescue.
What happens if it rains soon after your application?
Fertilizer and pre-emergent need to be watered-in. When we treat weeds, we use a sticking agent that helps the herbicide adhere to the weed even if it rains. Allow the treatment 10 – 14 days to do its job.
How do we control weeds?
The best defense against weed invasion is a thick lawn. Our program specializes in the application of the nutrients your lawn needs to maintain it's health and appearance. Watering and mowing properly is a must to assure the lawn is as thick and healthy as possible. The pre-emergent will not control all weeds; therefore we will address weed problems during each visit. After each visit you need to allow 10 – 14 days for optimal weed control. The most effective weed controls work slowly to move completely through the weed to control the entire weed including the root zone.
How high should I mow?
Mow the lawn low and bag the clippings the first mowing each spring (we recommend late March). Gradually raise the mowing height through the summer, and do not cut any lower until the next spring. Keeping the height high during the summer helps the grass maintain moisture, and acts as an insulating blanket during the colder months.
Are any of the materials harmful to humans or pets?
All chemicals can be harmful in excessive quantities or when used improperly. To insure safety we always follow label instructions and state regulations. It is always best to allow 1 – 2 hours for the lawn to dry before walking on it. Safety is of the utmost importance and we will always use the most effective and safest materials available.
